Yes, I am in California. 🙂 Unfortunately, I don't remember the brand I used in this recipe. I usually just pick up whatever is cheapest 🙂 I'll definitely make a note of the package when I go grocery shopping again and will let you know.

Thank you so much, Delia! I am glad you enjoyed this mami recipe. The broth takes a bit of time to make but I think the flavor is so worth the effort.

I am glad you enjoyed the yema rolls. It's a recipe from Sanna, also a food blogger who contributes on Kawaling Pinoy. She's a fantastic baker so I am sure the yema buns are amazing! 🙂

I've also tried the yema bread rolls recipe, can I tell you that when I read the ingredients for the yema i thought to my self, hmm, this is weird combination, but okay. I am from Tarlac and I remember the Macarthur Highway peppered with small carinderias. Food just taste a lot better in turo-turos. 🙂
