Thanks Lalaine. It's 5 star for this recipe. I tried this recipe as well as Panlasang Pinoy and the taste of this recipe by Kawaling Pinoy is a lot closer to Max's Fried Chicken, probably because of marinating the chicken in brine. The preparation time is longer however the taste is better. I also tried cooking in both air fryer and cooking oil, and the air fried version came out a tad crispier.

Can we do this to chopped pieces of chicken, instead of a whole piece? Would i get the same taste results? My children love thigh parts kasi.

Hello Lalaine. Your my go to website for Filipino recipes. Have any idea how I can use IP to steam the chicken and air fryer to fry the chicken? I hate to use up so much cooking oil but love fried chicken.

When steaming, do you use plain water to create steam or the brining solution? Also I intend to air fry after steaming. Heard that works well for regular fried chicken, so I’ll try it her.
