I used 1 large avocado and banana, 400ml milk and 3 teaspoons of maple syrup to make avocado shake. It is creamy and delicious! Thanks for sharing your recipe.

So good and refreshing! Reminds me of how my mom used to make avocado shake way back in the Philippines. It was perfect and definitely a keeper.
Thank you for sharing this recipe.

Tripping just to say they are eating healthy living in a country which most foods are with GMO really caught their mindset into something so little. Use whatever milk you want to use. This is a filipino style recipe.

Hi Bethany

Lemon will do just fine, I just added a bit of acid to retard the browning of the avocado. Enjoy!

Dude. Calm down. No one needs you do preach nutritional facts. Substitutions are a thing that regularly happen and are, more often than not, genuinely welcomed. You don't need to criticize someone's recipe when you can very easily make your substitutions.

Side note to Lalaine: I've always made my avocado milkshakes with regular 2% milk and today I tried it with evaporated milk and man, I'm never going back. It was delicious! Thanks for sharing your recipe.

Hi Lisa

This is a website for traditional Filipino recipes and traditionally, we use evaporated milk to make our ice pops and milkshakes. All the recipes here are based on my personal preference so please, feel free to substitute soy or almond milk as you like in making these avocado smoothies. Thanks.
